Maharashtra minister Anees Ahmed bereaved

Mumbai, May 16 (UNI) Maharashtra Dairy Minister Anees Ahmed's father Mr Haji Abdul Majid Ahmed passed away at Nagpur today. He was 85.

A prominent leader of the Memon community in Maharashtra, Haji Abdul Majid Ahmed had actively participated in the Indian freedom struggle.

He was a member of several social organisations. He leaves behind four sons and a daughter. The funeral will be held tomorrow in Nagpur.
