Jewellery worth Rs 10 cr from city shop robbed
Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) Robbers gained entry into a jewellery shop in Panjagutta and took away about Rs 10 crore worth of jewellery early today.
Police suspect that the robbers had gained entry after cutting open the shutter of the shop by using metal sheet cutters.
Jewellery, diamonds and precious metals were robbed from the shop. The burglary at the main commercial centre near the Panjagutta police station came to light when the owners of Alukkas Jewellery opened the shop this morning.
City Police Commissioner A K Mohanty and other police officials, along with clues team, visited the jewellery shop.
No one was arrested so far, police said.
