ISB increases student intake by 20 per cent in 2007
Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) The Indian School of Business (ISB) has increased its student intake by 20 per cent for the current session of 2007.
According to Prof Rammohan Rao, the Dean of the ISB, the Class of 2007, including working professionals, has 418 students against 345 in 2006. The ISB will now be counted as one among the largest top B-Schools in the world, he said.
Speaking about the encouraging measures, he said the ISB had offered scholarships worth Rs 1.67 crore. The school also offers scholarships for top 20 women students. The number of women students has gone up to 87 from 67 in the last year, he added.
