IES officer's daughter commits suicide
New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) A 15-year-old daughter of an Indian Economic Services (IES) officer has allegedly commited suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Satyaniketan in south-west Delhi.
Shefali, a class 10th student of Sanskriti school in Chanakya Puri, was found hanging from the ceiling on Sunday evening, sources said today.
Her family members had gone for shopping when she allegedly hanged herself. No suicide note had been found there, the sources added.
Though Shefali was a bright student, she used to a bit sceptical about her board results.
Her father Suraj Bhan, had been living along with his family at Satyaniketan for the last six years.
Shefali was cremated today at her ancestral home in Haryana.
