Haryana to train IFS officers in herbiculture
Chandigarh, May 16 (UNI) The Centre has selected Haryana for imparting training regarding plantation of medicinal plants to Indian Forests Services (IFS) officers of different states.
Talking to reporters here, Haryana Forests Minister Kiran Choudhry said the training would be held at Pinjore in phases.
Ms Choudhry, who earlier reviwed the functioning of the State Medicinal Plants Board here today, said the farmers would also be guided about raising quality planting material and proper method of harvesting.
