Box abandoned in a bus causes panic

Coimbatore, May 16 (UNI)An empty metal box left unclaimed in a bus created panic among the passengers and the crew at the Gandhipuram bus stand here today.

According to police, the bus was coming from Anuvan to the city when the conductor noticed the unclaimed box. Suspecting that it could contain some explosive material, he immediately informed the police. A bomb disposal squad with a sniffer dog rushed and forced open the box.

However, they found that the box was empty.
