Asom medicos join quota agitation

Guwahati, May 16 (UNI) Asom medicos have joined the nationwide stir on the issue of reservation with the students of the Asom Medical College (AMC), Dibrugarh, taking out a silent procession.

The students informed they would not go all-out at the moment as undergraduate examination were on in the college, besides, hundreds of malaria patients are being treated in the hospital.

The Asom medicos have not joined the nationwide strike so far and the Guwahati Medical College (GMC) has been maintaining complete aloofness towards the strike.

The procession was taken out from AMC, Borbari to Thana Chariali.
