Asahi India FY 06 PAT at Rs 86-crore

Mumbai, May 16: India's largest glass major, Asahi India Glass Ltd. has registered gross sales of Rs 703.16-crore in FY 06 while operating profit and profit after tax for the period stood at Rs 122.92 crores and Rs 86.26 crores respectively.

A press release issued here today stated that the company's Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of 60 per cent on equity shares for FY 06.
