Arunachal demands more border trade routes
New Delhi, May 16 : The Centre has received requests from the North Eastern State of Arunachal Pradesh for the opening up of three additional trading points on the international border.
These locations are at Bumla, Pangsau Pass and Bleting for carrying trade with China, Myanmar and Bhutan respectively, the Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh told the Lok Sabha today in a written reply.
He said these trading points can be operationalised only after bilateral negotiations with the countries concerned.
