3 die of asphyxiation

Bangalore, May 16 (UNI) Three persons died of asphyxiation when they got into an open well on Magadi road in the city today.

Police said Vijay (22) died due to suffocation when he scaled down the 35-year-old well to retrieve a pitcher that he had dropped accidentally. His neighbours Balaraj (33) and Gopi (23) also met with a similar fate when they got into the well to save him.
