12-hour Kokrajhar Bandh total

Kokrajhar, May 16: The All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) sponsored 12-hour Kokrajhar district bandh hit life throughout the district today.

The bandh was total as all shops and business establishments remained closed and vehicular traffic was off the roads.

However, there was no untoward incident anywhere in the district.

Work in government and private offices was also badly affected.

The ABSU called the bandh in protest against the alleged atrocities on their activists by members of the Bodo Peoples Progressive Front-Hagrama in the district recently.
