Selvaraj replaces Rajaraman as assembly Secretary

Chennai, May 15 (UNI) M Selvaraj, Joint Secretary, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly was today appointed as Secretary of the assembly in place of V Rajaraman.

Mr Selvaraj, who assumed office this evening, announced that R Sakkarapani, DMK MLA, has been appointed as the Chief Government whip of the state assembly.

Mr Rajaraman was on a three-year extension of service and his term comes to an end in July. His services were terminated two months ahead of his term.
