Sachin awaits Windies tour following injury healing
Chennai, May 15 (UNI) Ace batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who was recently operated upon for his shoulder injury, today said his shoulder injury was healing and he was looking forward to be part of the Indian Team for the test series in West Indies.
The master-blaster, who is here to train and undergo fitness test at the MRF Pace Foundation, said the shoulder injury turned out to be more complicated than the doctors expected, ''but the doctors and Physio are happy with my progress.'' The Biceps Tendon was also operated. ''So far the healing process has been good, we have to wait and see,'' he said. Sachin would be training at MRF till May 20 to get back his rhythm.
He will also undergo Medical test at the foundation.
