Nitish resigns from Lok Sabha

Patna, May 15 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today resigned from Nalanda Lok Sabha seat in Bihar.

Official sources said here that Mr Kumar handed over his resignation letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterji in New Delhi. Mr Kumar was elected unopposed to Bihar Legislative Council on March 20.

He took oath as MLC on May 7.
