Lalu prays to 'Sai Baba' for granting 'Sadbuddhi' to scribes
Bhopal, May 15 (UNI) Union Railways Minister Lalu Prasad says he has prayed to Sai Baba to grant 'Sadbuddhi' (saner counsel) to journalists.
In his typical style with a mischievous grin, the Minister made the comment when asked by reporters what he had asked from 'Sai Baba'. He had made a brief halt at the railway station here while returning from the pilgrim town of Shirdi last night.
He was travelling by a special saloon accompanied by his family, including his wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi.
The Railway Minister said the proposal to convert the weekly Sai Express train into a daily train was being considered for the benefit of passengers.
Regarding the announcement of air-conditioned 'Garib Rath' for poor passengers, he said the train will be launched after June.
Common people will be able to enjoy the benefit of AC coach without paying extra fare for it. The train will run between the national capital and state capitals.
Mr Yadav also inspected Manmad station in Maharashtra and Khandwa railway division in Madhya Pradesh during the journey.
