Juventus coach Fabio Capello intends to stay put

MILAN, May 14 Juventus coach Fabio Capello, who clinched his second successive Italian title today, says he intends to stay at the Turin club next season.

''I don't see any reason to leave this club where I feel good,'' Capello told Italy's Sky Sport.

''I believe I will stay at Juventus,'' added the coach who has been linked with a number of other clubs.

Capello has been reported by Italian media in recent weeks as being close to a switch to Serie A rivals Inter Milan and his name has frequently been linked with a return to Real Madrid where he won the Spanish title in 1997.

Juventus are embroiled in a match-fixing scandal in Italy but Capello said he felt nothing but affection for the club.

''I feel very closely connected to the club, I consider myself lucky to have been at Juventus,'' said Capello.
