IPS officers transferred in AP

Hyderabad, May 15 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government today transferred ten IPS officers, including Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police (IGP).

According to an official release here, Mr C N Gopinath Reddy, ADGP of Visakhapatnam region was transferred and posted as Director of AP Police Academy (APPA) while Dr B L Meena was posted as IG of Visakhapatnam region.

Ms Tejdeep Kaur Menon, Additional Commissioner of Police,Hyderabad was transferred and posted as IGP of Welfare. The posting of Mr M Punna Rao as Additional Director of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) was cancelled and retained as Joint Commissioner of Police, Co-ordination and Security.

Mr Govind Singh, DIG of Hyderabad, was transferred and posted as DIG of Visakhapatnam while Mr S Umapathi, DIG of APPA was posted as DIF of CID, Hyderabad.

Mr V Srinivasa Rao, Superintendent of Police, Visakhapatnam (Rural) has been posted as Assistant IGP of Law and Order.

Mr J G Murali, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad has been posted as SP of Visakhapatnam (Rural), the release added.
