Hospital for bidi workers should be started immly: Sagar MP

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Sagar's MP Virendra Kumar (BJP) today requested the Speaker to direct the Government to start the Bidi Mazdoor Hospital at Sagar immediately.

Raising the matter in the Lok Sabha under Rule 377, he said the hospital is almost ready for the past several months but could not be commissioned as some more funds would be required to give it the final touches. The centre should immediately provide these funds so that this much-awaited hospital for the bidi workers could start at the earliest, Mr Kumar said, adding that there were reports that anti-social elements were using the place.
