Faridkot, May 15 (UNI) With all formalities having been completed, the decks are now clear for the repatriation of four Pakistani boys to their country.

These boys, who had inadvertently crossed over into Indian territory last year, were under detention at the Juvenile Home-cum-Observation centre here. They will be handed over to the Pakistani authorities at the Wagah check post on May 17.

A communique has been received by the Deputy Commissioner today from the state Home Department for the repatriation of these boys who are in the age group of 11-14 years. They will be taken to Amritsar tomorrow and the following day to the Wagah check post.

The boys include Imran Masih (13) and his cousin Mithu Masih (11) both of whom were apprehended late last year by the Border Security Force (BSF) after they crossed over into India in the Ajnala sector of Amritsar district. They were playing close to the border when they strayed across the zero line and got caught by the BSF.

Another detainee is Khuras Nawaz (12) who boarded the Samjautha Express to India from Lahore after a fight with his mother in July last year. He was caught at the Attari railway station after he alighted from the train little knowing that he was on the Indian territory.

The fourth boy who will be repatriated is 14-year old Shaukat Ali who has been languishing at the Juvenile Home for the last nine months after being apprehended in the Ferozpur sector.

When the District Administration conveyed the news of their repatriation to these boys their faces lit-up. In fact they had been waiting for the 'good news' ever since one of the inmates fourteen year old Asif was repatriated to Pakistan in February this year. The recent orders of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to repatriated all Pakistani detainees who had served their prison terms further rekindled a ray of hope in these boys.

The repatriation of these four boys has also been cleared by the Pakistani authorities, who after establishing contact with their parents agreed to take back the boys.
