Controversial police officer gets posting

Chennai, May 15 (UNI) Mr P Sivanandi, the high profile police officer who reportedly helped the AIADMK in drawing its elections strategies, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Home Guards, Tiruchirapalli.

In a order here, Home Secretary Pavan Raina said consequent to the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Branch on May five, Mr Sivanandi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, has been posted as SP, Home Guards.
