Mainpuri, May 15 (UNI) Miscreants burgled an arms shop here last night and decamped with a large quantity of rifles, revolvers, guns and cartridges worth several lakhs of rupees, police today said.

Sniffer dogs have been brought from Agra to help in the investigations.

The miscreants broke open nine locks and three channel gates to commit the heist at Prakash Gun House -- owned by Dhirendra Chaturvedi.

It is said to be the oldest arms shop in Mainpuri.
