Summer paddy MSP for Raichur district fixed at Rs.600/quintal

Bangalore, May 14 (UNI) Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Minister Govind Karjol today announced a minimum support price for procurement of summer paddy at Rs 600 a quintal in Raichur district.

Mr Karjol told reporters here that the measure was taken following the assurance given by Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy to farmers during his visit to the district recently.

The paddy would be purchased from Sindhnur and Manvi centres in the district from May 17 to 31, Mr Karjol said.
