Second campus facility of IIM-L inaugurated in Noida

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) The second campus facility of the Indian Institute of Management-Lucknow (IIM-L), one of the premier management institutes in India, was today inaugurated in Noida.

The Institue is the first IIM to open a second campus.

IIM-L Chairman-Board Of Governors and J K Organisation President Hari Shankar Singhania, alongwith IIM-L Director Devi Singh did the honours.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh said, ''The Noida Campus of IIM Lucknow is a totally different value addition experience for the executive participants. The academic structure has been designed through many consultative rounds within the academia and the industry and we are proud to extend the excellence of IIM Lucknow to the NCR region.'' Mr Singhania said, ''The idea behind starting the executive management programme at Noida Campus is to blend the candidate's rich work experience with the conceptual ideas and strategic inputs for achieving excellent business results".

The Noida Campus, on a 20-acre land, will have a well-equipped library, a modern computer centre, an automated programme office, class room block, furnished hostels with single-seated bachelor accommodation, a large students' mess furnished with modern kitchen equipments, a medical centre and a guest house.

IIM-L undertakes a diverse range of academic activities including Post Graduate Programme, Fellow Programme, Agri Business Management Programme, Management Development Programmes for executives, the General Management Programme for Defence Personnel and various Consulting Programmes.

IIM-L is looking for significant inorganic growth in the future through collaboration with leading national and international business schools and research centres.
