Rs 7785 lakh annual plan for Kargil

Kargil, May 14 (UNI) The plan outlay for border district of Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir during the current fiscal has been fixed at Rs 7785.35 lakh as against Rs 7670.99 lakh during the last financial year.

Of this, Rs 1985.35 lakh would be the revenue component and Rs 5800 lakh as the capital component.

The allocation for 2005-06 was to the tune of Rs 7670.99 lakh out of which the total expenditure for the year was about Rs 5878.03 lakh.

This was revealed in the general council meeting of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil here.

An amount of Rs 2.50 crore has been allocated to the councilors as constituency development funds. Besides, Rs 3.00 crore has been proposed to be kept for the councilors for formulation of new plans under the district plan fund in their respective constituencies.
