Raichur records max temperature of 42.5 deg. cel.

Bangalore, May 14 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka and at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 42.5 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, and Koppal districts of North Interior Karnataka and over Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka and remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka .

Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
