Jammu, May 14 (UNI) Expressing deep concern at the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir Leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Lal Krishna Advani today said there was a conspiracy to oust minority Hindus from the Jammu region.

He said that this type of attacking and killing policy exercised in Kashmir had forced Kashmiri Pandits to migrate from the valley in the late eighties.

Addressing media persons here at the Jammu airport, the senior BJP leader said, the party would take up the issue of Doda and Udhampur massacres and militant attack on BJP workers at Doda in Parliament commencing from tomorrow.

''These three incidents are not common terrorist acts, which generally militants in different part of country carry out to prove their presence, but a conspiracy to accelerate the ethnic cleansing of Hindus in the Jammu region,'' he added.

Mr Advani said these incidents couldn't be compared with terrorist act in Delhi, Banglore or Varanasi. ''I would regard it as sinister design against Hindus to force them to leave their home in Jammu region,'' he added.

Blaming the Congress led government in the state as well as in centre for failing to protect the minority Hindus, he said the terrorists had a straight forward strategy to force out Hindus from Doda, Udhampur and other districts of Jammu region.

Mr Advani said these are definitely the result of the weak policies of the UPA government, that have totally failed to deal with terrorism. ''The pro-militant leaders who were responsible for removal of POTA for their vested interest, are directing the central government'', he added.

He added that the gradually deteriorating security situation in the Jammu region is a deep cause of concern. The security arrangement in Doda must be revised and whole Doda should be declared at 'disturbed area'.

Earlier Advani also visited the Government Medical College Hospital of Jammu with former union minister Chaman Lal Gupta to meet the injured persons and asked the senior doctors to provide best medical facilities to them.

Mr Advani also participated in the cremation of BJP worker Munshi Ram, who was one of two persons killed in a grenade attack yesterday, at Batote in Doda this afternoon.
