Rly to operate Mega Block on May 14

Mumbai, May 13: Central railway will operate mega block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintainance work on Sunday May 14, a release issued here yesterday said.

On Up and Dn harbour line between Kurla and Vashi stations from 1115 hrs to 1615 hrs. All Dn harbour line services leaving CST to Vashi, Belapur, Panvel from 0950 hrs to 1540 hrs will remain cancelled. All Up harbour line services for CST leaving Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 1007 hrs to 1553 hrs will also remain cancelled.

However, special locals will run between CST Kurla-CST and Panvel -Vashi-Panvel at a frequency of around 20 to 25 minutes on harbour line during the block period. Harbour line services to Bandra/ Andheri and back will run as per schedule on May 14.

On Dn slow line (main line) between Matunga and Mulund stations from 11am to 4pm. Dn slow line services leaving Matunga from 1044 hrs to 15.52 hrs will be diverted on Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund and further diverted on Dn local line proper.

Dn local line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations during the block period. However passengers for these stations are permitted to travel via Ghatkoper, Bhandup and Mulund stations in Up direction on their valid card/ season tickets during the block period, the release added.
