Question paper's secrecy broken

Jabalpur, May 12 (UNI) The matter of question paper -- English (General) for IXth class and Mathematics for XIth class -- reaching certain persons before examination is being investigated into, district education officer Dhirendra Chaturvedi said today.

Mr Chaturvedi told UNI that two officials from Bhopal were investigating into the matter. He expected the report to arrive in one-two days.

The report will explain how and when the question paper reached certain persons. The question paper is kept in the concerned police station under which the examination centre is located.

Mr Chaturvedi made it clear that question paper did not leak before examination.

The examination of the two subjects began at its scheduled time 1100 hrs yesterday.

Earlier, the question paper of IX and XI classes had leaked in April, following which examination dates were postponed.
