Private sector to help Haryana make development plans
Chandigarh, May 12 (UNI) The Haryana government has allowed the district authorities to take the help of the private sector in preparing development plans for the cities and towns.
State Chief Secretary Prem Prashant today directed the district-level officers to prepare development plans within next six months and allowed them to take the help of the private sector if required for this purpose.
The Chief Secretary, while presiding over a meeting of the district officers at Karnal, ordered the Superintendent Engineers and Planners of various departments to make the prospective development plans of their towns and cities keeping the next 25 years in mind.
He instructed the officers to maintain friendly relations with the public and to check any unnecessary delay caused in the completion of works.
