Manmohan Singh congratulates Israeli PM Olmert

New Delhi, May 12: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today spoke with his Israeli counterpart Ehud Olmert on telehphone and congratulated him on his being sworn in as the Prime Minister last week.

Dr Singh expressed India's desire to work closely with Israel for better Indo-Israei relations, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said.

''The Prime Minister conveyed his views about his desire to continue workng closely with him for bettwe Indo-Israeli relations,'' the spokesman added.
