HC issues notices to NDMC, Hutch
New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today issued notices to both the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) and the Hutch mobile company.
Justice RC Jain observed that the trial court should be apprised of the order exempting the mobile major from personal appearances.
Appearing for NDMC, Anjana Gosain submitted that the mobile company installing towers in LBZ (Lutyen's Building Zone) was a flagrant violation of a temporary permission granted by the NDMC for three months in 1995.
Appearing for the mobile major, Mr Chandhiok submitted that the company could shift its towers if the NDMC provided an alternative space.
The NDMC counsel submitted that the problem was the company's and the NDMC could not find them any place. He also submitted that the company was not indulging in any illegal act.
The NDMC counsel contended that its activity suffered from absence of any permission.
