Four held in Pradeep Hazarika shooting case

Sibsagar, May 12 (UNI) Four persons were arrested in connection with the ULFA attack on AGP leader Pradeep Hazarika, police today said.

Ponaram Gogoi, Manoj Gogoi, Rajen Chutia and Ramen Phukon were arrested last night.

Mr Hazarika, who won the Amguri Assembly seat yesterday, was shot by ULFA militants on Tuesday.

Two of his bodyguards were killed and five others injured in the attack.

Mr Hazarika is currently undergoing treatment at the AIIMS in Delhi.
