Fatehgarh Sahib, May 12 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Shamsher Singh Dullo today said he would take up the matter of senior Congress leader Jagmeet Singh Brar's utterances against Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on the Reliance issue with the central party high command.

Talking to media persons here, Mr Dullo said that Mr Brar was a senior Congress leader and a member of the Congress Working Committee and, thus, he should not issue ''baseless statements'' against the chief minister in the media.

Besides taking up the issue of the chief minister's criticism at the hands of Mr Brar on the issue of the ransfer of land to Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Mr Dullo said he would also discuss the matter with Mr Brar personally.

He admitted that such publically made allegations against the Chief Minister and the government not only damaged the party's reputation but also demoralised the workers and spread indiscipline and groupism.

Mr Dullo said that if Mr Brar had any apprehensions, he should have talked to the Chief Minister or Congres party president Ms Sonia Gandhi directly instead of going to the media.

He advocated the setting up of industrial units in the state and attracting big industrial houses to set up their industry in state.

He said that it as the only mean by which we could eradicate unemployment, the major problem of the State as the government could not offer jobs to everyone.
