CM's helicopter force lands at police stadium

Shajapur, MP, May 12 (UNI) The helicopter, carrying Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, had to force land at a stadium after it developed a technical snag.

Mr Chouhan's helicopter had to land at a helipad in a police line ground at 1450 hrs today. However, the pilot did not consider it appropriate to land the helicopter at the helipad due to the presence of micro-wave tower.

No government official or political leader was present to welcome Mr Chouhan, who immediately set off for the venue of programme on a motorcycle. No one could recognise the Chief Minister when he reached the venue.

Collector Shivanand Dubey and Superintendent of Police Asha Mathur immediately arranged security cover for Mr Chouhan.
