CII unveils expo on kitchen concepts

Chandigarh, May 12 (UNI) Kitchen and Beyond 2006, CII's four day exclusive exhibition on modern kitchen concepts opened at the CII convention centre here today.

This annual show on kitchen equipments and accessories, featuring varied options for healtheir, more attractive and user-friendly kitchens was inaugurated by Mrs Jean Rodrigues, wife of Punjab Governor, Gen (Retd) S F Rodrigues.

Kitchen and Beyond 2006 is showcasing a varied product portfolio catering to the needs of contemporary lifestyles. Attractive, convenient and time saving gadgets aim at making cooking a pleasure.

While the sleek kitchen modules would attract those refurnishing or redresigning their homes, home-makers will find a wide range of accessories to refresh their kitchens.

Successfully organised every year, the exposition has come to represent value to industry and consumers as an established platform to generate exposure for contemporary technology and showcase the latest product offerings.

Companies like Lumix-International, Kenstar, Black and Decker, Samsund, LG, Milton-Treo, Nirlep, Inasla, Eureka Forbes, Panasonic, Su-kam, Luminous etc are vying with each other to woo the customers at Kitchen and Beyond 2006.

Designer fittings, elegant furniture, trendy picnic kits, consumer appliances like food processors, refrigerators, electric chemineys, gas ranges, water purifiers, toasters, micrawave ovens, mixers, grinders, dishwashers, electric cookers, tandoors, cabinets and sinks, chopping and cutting aides, kitchen towels and tissues, storage containers, pickles, milk flavours, tea and mouth fresheners are some of the products on display at the expo.
