Scientist bags award

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) University Institute of Chemical Technology Emeritus Professor of Eminence Man Mohan Sharma today received the 'A V Rama Rao Technology Award.' Indian Institute of Chemical Tehnology (IICT) Director J S Yadav presented the award to Mr Sharma, 'who contributed immensely to the field of chemical technology,' on the occasion of the 'National Technology Day Celebrations.

Mr Sharma, who became the first Indian engineer to be elected as a Fellow of Royal society, UK in 1990 was also a recipient of the Padma Vibushan in 2001.
