Proclamation notice issued against Sadhu

Patna, May 11 (UNI) Bihar Vigilance Bureau has executed of Special Vigilance Court order by pasting a proclamation notice against RJD MP Aniruddha Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav directing him to appear before the court by June 9 in connection with multi-crore relief scam.

Police Superintendent (vigilance) Ashok Kumar Singh said here that the police pasted the proclamation notice at his local Mitramandal Colony residence, near Dak Bunglow in Patna and also at the district courts notice board besides at his native village, Phulwaria in Gopalganj disrict.

The proclamation notice had been pasted at a public place of Meerganj in Gopalganj district and at the notice board of Gopalganj district court.

A team of Bihar police had gone to New Delhi to arrest the RJD MP but the team had not returned to the state so far. The RJD MP had already been declared absconder in this case.

In the order, Special vigilance court had said that the order for attachment of property of Mr. Yadav would be issued if he failed to appear before the Court till June 9.

Mr Yadav was not a named accused in the FIR but in course of investigation his complicity in the scam was detected and the bureau submitted a chargesheet against him.

Patna High Court had stayed Mr Yadavs arrest till filing of the chargesheet. Later, the special court and Delhi High Court had rejected the anticipatory bail application of the high profile politician and brother-in-law of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad after the filing of the chargesheet. His anticipatory bail application had already been rejected by the Patna High Court.
