Mahajan's ashes immersed in Purna

Akola (Maharashtra), May 11: The ashes of BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, who died recently, were immersed in the Purna River at Gandhigram, about 14 km from here, last evening.

The urn containing the ashes was brought here from Mumbai by BJP Member of Parliament Sanjay Dhotre yesterday and kept at the party district headquarters for people to pay homage. The urn was later carried through the main streets the ashes were then immersed in the river.
