Official arrested for accepting bribe

Akola, Maharashtra, May 11 (UNI) A revenue clerk at Telhara taluka of this district was allegedly caught red-handed by Anti Corruption Bureau officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 500 yesterday.

The official has been identified as Vitthalrao Ingle. He was arrested following a complaint lodged by Vikas Gothkale from Goregaon village.

He allegedly demanded the sum for registering Gothkale's name in the records with respect to a plot of land. On a complaint the ACB laid a trap and nabbed while accepting the amount.
