Man held with pistol in counting centre

Guwahati, May 11 (UNI) A person was today arrested with a pistol at a counting station in Amguri constituency in Sibsagar district.

According to reports, one Subhas Adhikari had tried to enter the counting centre with a 9 mm pistol in hand.

However, police arrested him immediately.

Asom Gana Parishad candidate from the constituency was shot by ULFA militants on Tuesday.
