Cabinet expansion: No differences within BJP, says Yediyurappa
H D Kote, May 11 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today clarified that there was no differences within the party over the selection of proposed cabinet members and said the list was ready.
Talking to newspersons at the Kabini Reservoir Guest House, he said there was no dispute over the selection and the list was ready.
It would be handed over to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy once he announced the date for expansion.
Asked about the BJP, the ruling coalition partners, reserving some berths for women in the cabinet, Mr Yediyurappa merely said that such issues would be discussed only in the party fora.
He also informed that a new industrial policy, with more thrust on small scale industries, would be announced by this month-end.
Earlier, Mr Yediyurappa took part in a function organised to release books at the Mysore University here.
