BSF seize 3 kg heroin at Khemkaran border

Jalandhar, May 11 (UNI) The Border Security Forces (BSF) has seized three kg heroin, worth Rs three crore in the international market, from a drug smuggler along the Indo Pak border in Khemkaran area of Ferozepur sector.

A BSF spoksman said here today that the accused Khushi Ram was nabbed by the BSF troops while he was obtaining the contraband consignment near the border fence yesterday.

This is the second seizure of the contraband in Ferozepur sector by BSF during the last one month.

The BSF has so far seized 40 kg of heroin along the Indo-Pak border during the current year, the spoksman added.
