AGP establishes early lead in Asom

Guwahati, May 11 : The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) established a slender lead as the trends trickled in from all over the state where the counting for the 126 Assembly constituencies started at 0800 hours today.

According to the latest official reports, the AGP has established early lead in three seats, Congress in two seats, while the NCP is maintaining lead in one seat.

The results are excepted by 1300 hours but a clear picture as to who will form the next government, should emerge by 1200 hours.
