Two drowned in river Godavari

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, May 10 (UNI) Two youth drowned in river Godavari at Mukkamala village in Peravali mandal of West Godavari district this afternoon.

According to police, K Tataji of Tanuku, his relatives V Murali, Prakasham and Ramesh, went to the river godavari at Mukkamala village from Tanuku to have a bath.

While Murali and Tataji drowned, the other two were rescued by villagers.

Police fished out the body of one person from the river. A search was on for the other person.
