Sizzling temperatures affect normal life in MP

Bhopal, May 10 (UNI) Sizzling summer temperatures across Madhya Pradesh since the past fortnight have affected normal life.

Most of the state recorded temperatures between 42-45 degree Celsius, two-three notches above normal, while Hoshangabad and Sheopur were hottest with temperature hitting 45 degree celsius.

Gwalior recorded maximum and minimum temperatures of 44.8 and 30 degree celsius respectively.

Thermometers reached 43 degree celsius in the state capital, while Jabalpur recorded a maximum of 43.5 degree celsius Satna and Rewa recorded a maximum of 43.7 and 41 degree celsius respectively.

The meteorological department has forecast that temperature in the state capital will be around 42 degree celsius in the next 24 hours.
