Overseas Placement Bureau for Haryana

Chandigarh, May 10 (UNI) The Haryana Overseas Placement Assistance Society has set up an Overseas Placement Bureau after obtaining the Certificate of Registration as Recruiting Agent under Emigration Act, 1983.

The Bureau has already commenced registration of applicants for employment aborad.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Employment Department said anyone desirous of placement abroad could register himself or herself by clicking 'Post Your Resume' on the website www.haryanajobs.in of the state Overseas Placement Assistance Society.

Applicants would have to send attested copies of documents or testimonials regarding their age, educational qualifications, experience and passport in support of the details furnished by them in the office of the society.

He said those who do not have an on-line facility, could register by filing up the prescribed form which could be down-loaded from the website or accessed by visiting the District Employment Exchange alongwith original certificates. The registration of an applicant would be validated after verification of the documents.

He said for any further information one could contact the office of the Society at Swastick Vihar, Panchkula or Haryana Directorate of Employment, Chandigarh or district employment exchanges.

He added the Overseas Placement Assistance Society has been promoted by the state government to assist the youth for overseas employment. The society has been registered under the societies registration act, 1860.
