Noida authority to launch two group housing schemes

Noida, May 10 (UNI) The Noida Authority has approved plans to launch two group housing schemes, Deputy Chief Executive Officer C P Singh said here.

He said the recently concluded board meeting had approved both the schemes.

Out of the two schemes, one will be for senior citizens, Mr Singh said.

''The board entrusted the authority to finalise the modalities of both the schemes at the earliest,'' he said.

The scheme will utilise 16 tracts of the land reserved in sector 110 for group housing societies, Mr Singh said.

Out of the three hectares of land vacated by encroachers in Raipur village here, only one hectare of land will be used for villagers' rehabilitation and the rest two will be utilised for the group housing societies, the DCEO said.

Though the final project report is yet to be prepared for the senior citizens group housing scheme, the board had approved in principal the resolution placed for the same, Mr Singh said.
