Naidu condemns 'conversions' at Tirumala
Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, May 10 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today condemned the alleged propagation of Christianty at temple premises here.
Addressing the press after offering prayers at Sri Venkateswara Temple, Mr Naidu held the government responsible for alleged conversions at the temple premises .
During his tenure, Tirumala was being developed like Vatican City and now, it was commercialised with construction of more guest houses in the Seven Hills.
He recalled his government never gave permission for construction of even a single guest house and said politics should not be entertained at the temple premises.
Earlier, Mr Naidu was received at the temple by TTD Executive Officer A P V N Sarma and Special Officer A V Dharma Reddy.
