Mob thrashes criminal following bomb explosion

Gaya, May 10 : An irate mob thrashed a criminal, injuring him seriously at Maroofganj locality under Civil lines police station of the district .

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Kumar Sinha said three criminals exploded two bombs at Maroofganj to create panic in the area. Later local people, enraged over the incident, caught hold of one of the three and beat him up severely. However, the other two culprits managed to escape.

The injured, Firoz, was admitted to Magadh Medical Hospital here, where his condition was stated to be serious.

Raids were on to arrest the other anti-social elements, Mr Sinha added.
