Jayasuriya called up for England tour
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, May 10 (Reuters) Sri Lanka batsman Sanath Jayasuriya has reversed his decision to retire from test cricket and has been added to the squad touring England.
Jayasuriya, 36, announced his retirement in April but Sri Lanka's new chairman of selectors, Ashantha de Mel, persuaded him to reconsider, a Sri Lankan cricket board official said.
Jayasuriya will miss the first test against England starting tomorrow at Lord's but will be available for the second test at Edgbaston.
